I actually think Wikipedia are acting correctly. They don’t have any way of telling that this one guy is correct, and not a crank. All they have is a single book, written by the person who is trying to make updates, that disagrees with all of the existing writings. In that situation, it might get a mention under a “differing opinions” section, but it certainly shouldn’t be replacing the main explanation.
