I like Tim a lot (and also remember him from the NUS days). I think he has potential as a future party leader. However, given the nature of the role of President as someone who represents the membership, and given how arduous Ros Scott found the role while she was also a parliamentarian, I’m likely to vote for Susan.
I won’t mind if Tim wins, but I’d expect his work as an MP to suffer.
