The problem with “ţ”

There’s a bit of an issue with the letter “ţ” in Romanian. Properly, it should be “ț”, a t with a comma underneath rather than a cedilla, but that seems to be much less widely supported than one would have hoped; apparently most on-line Romanian still uses the incorrect “ţ”, so I am doing the same for now.

  1. Fortunately, now I’m not office based, some of those banes upon the internet are no longer encountered.

All have been at some point though. The marketing firm that thought it a good plan to send their presentation, unsolicited, as a 10Meg .exe file when dial up was still common still stands out as “too stupid for words” though.
