Someone just knocked on our office door asking if he could check into his hotel room

Obviously the unseasonable sunshine was getting to him. The hotel is two doors down from our building!

  1. Our diving club has a very high % of native German speakers. I assume it is a mishearing on their part, but in the frequently heated committee discussions we have the oft-used phrase “XXXX just can’t be asked to do [insert random thing here] because he is so lazy”. So far none of the native English speakers have corrected their usage, it’s rather sweet.
