  1. I don’t think I ever told you, but I quoted your last year’s Hugo Goodreads figures to lots of people including almost all the other nominees, all of whom nodded sagely and agreed that it was indeed indicative and meant that A Dance With Dragons would be certain to win.

    But then sometimes the tortoise does make it!
