I ticked very few boxes, but I suspect I would have ticked very few boxes if you’d also listed the male-authored books you’ve reviewed in that time.
Frankly, I remain utterly astonished at how much some people actually manage to read. My prime reading years were while I was a teenager; ever since I’ve been working, I’ve read a lot less, and ever since I’ve been writing, even less still. Not sure I get through as much as a book a month on average (though I read a lot more short fiction, for various reasons, I still don;t read as much of that as many people I know).
