Ah, so that explains the recent surge of new changes, promises to consult etc coming out of LJ HQ! Introducing a new layout all of a sudden with no announcement probably wasn’t a great idea, as it seems they’ve already realised, but on the whole I’m glad to hear that someone wanting to make the site better is at the helm once again – especially if, at it seems, what they basically want to do is make the site fulfil its existing strengths properly, rather than simply replicate something else which already exists.
