Does anyone else find it interesting that Mr. Day voted one of the 2 from his slate as #4? (I finally gave up on finishing The Dark Between the Stars a couple days ago… after attempting to get it read for about a month, I didn’t get quite halfway through. [Checked copy out of the library, renewed it once, finally returned it on the 2nd due date, and tried reading the Hugo Packet copy on my Kindle… still wasn’t able to make it to the 50% point.]) I’ve moved on to Goblin Emperor, which is MUCH more enjoyable so far.
Personally, No Award and Dark are about tied in my mind, for 4th/5th. Still need to read Mr. Butcher’s book, but can’t see it being worse than Dark.
