  1. The thing about Ms. Marvel that everyone notices is that it is such a traditional Marvel “young hero” book other than the protagonist’s ethnic and religious background. I can’t tell if this is a serious attempt to demonstrate to the superhero-comic equivalent of Puppies that no, having a minority protagonist is not essentially incompatible with everything they like, or a mocking demonstration of the same. It does mean that people who don’t like traditional Marvel comics and were expecting something more unusual are disappointed.
