The latest cool Facebook tool – the Nexus application which shows the interconnections between your facebook friends. I just love this. Not surprisingly, you can actually identify particular constellations.

Re: the ice water. While I can’t remember which book it is exactly, I swear there’s at least one fiction book written even later than this where the over-eager drinking of ice water is blamed for a minor character’s death by stroke.
