  1. I am deeply amused that you’ve read and reviewed this! It’s been big news here, of course, but I didn’t expect it to go beyond the Australian borders. (As you note, it’s not been written with a non-Australian audience in mind. The Bronwyn Bishop Helicopter Affair was a misuse of public funds scandal, when it turned out she spent $5000 on taxpayer funds for a helicopter trip to a Liberal Party fundraiser, when the journey would have taken just an hour by car.)

    I’ve been hemming and hawing on reading it myself — I have no love for the Liberals (and very little for Labor), and I’m not sure I want to immerse myself in that mindset. On the other hand, I do love Harold Holt trivia…
