I still want an updated Psion 5mx:
Something that fits in a large pocket, has a keyboard I can type at a reasonable clip on (which shouldn’t be too difficult to fit in: I have small fingers), does IRC and the web (well enough to talk to Gdocs adequately), talks Wifi and 3G and has a battery life of over a week of reasonably frequent use… none of this ‘ten hours’ nonsense. Ideally it would also do GPS and talk to Google Maps, but I can live with having a separate device for that if it screws up the battery life.
Currently I have a tiny magic phone which has a keyboard I can just about tolerate, runs like a dog, and has a 4-hour battery life if I’m lucky; this is the best solution I’ve found so far.
