Oddly, I’ve had generally bad food on Air France when flying out of Japan. They’ll be using JAL’s caterers, I expect. Flying QANTAS out of Hong Kong wasn’t brilliant food-wise, but as AF had neglected to tell them about my special meal request and they fulfilled it with 2 hours notice, I’m not complaining.
When Air France don’t lose my special meal request, and I’m flying out of Paris CDG, their food is the best in the world. Also, I’m not small and need a seat into which I can fit. If the Asian airlines are like their trains, I’ll have problems.
