My impression is that it’s mostly the extremist “DOCTOR/ROSE IS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SHOW AND IF YOU DON’T THINK SO YOU’RE A HEARTLESS SEMI-AUTISTIC FANBOY WHO HATES WOMEN!!!” element.
