I suspect we may have passed each other, since we went from Monument to the poppies rather than in the other direction.
Actually, we started over in Victoria, walked the length of Victoria Street up past the poppy display at Westminster Abbey, then over past Portcullis House and along the embankment. We then walked down the river to the Tower, pausing to head towards Monument to find a pub.
I think we covered 7 km, and my legs are killing me.
