  1. Hi,

good to see Alliance still making advances; sad to see the continuing decline in the SDLP’s support, but at the same time, despite their hostility the DUP & SF seem to have found some kind of miracle formula that just might lead to further normalisation of NI politics. It was very heartening to watch some of the PPB’s and see how ‘normal’ a lot of them were.

I’m currently listening to The Truth Commissioner by David Park on Radio 7 (or 4 Extra as ‘ol Auntie Beeb insists on calling it), but I recall a children’s drama, or possibly on of the wonderful plays that the BBC used to put on the telly. It was about a young girl, about 14, or 15, IIRC, who went against her local community, I can’t recall which one, and finished the play distributing election leaflets for Alliance. Don’t know if you have any memory of this, but I’d love to see it again I must admit.

Thanks for all these posts, which I discovered because of your whoniversaries posts. Right now, I’m looking forward with great anticipation to the resumption of the BBC’s coverage of the Ulster Championships from next weekend.

Still under Willow & Tara’s spell,
    Ray, Blairgowrie, Scotland.
