On the face of it, they have, as MLMcD is clearly their best TD, and Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin seemed to be managing OK in the Dáil until he was gazumped by said Adams. (So, just people that have demanded that murder investigations be conducted on terms to the subjects’ liking, then. Slow incremental improvements.) In the North… much more of a hangover, I suppose. More of a need to be seen to keep the “old guard” onside, rather than having no-one to replace them with, I imagine.
