Reuters reports on the situation outside Laayoune in the occupied Western Sahara, where locals are protesting with their feet against the continued Moroccan occupation. Latest reports are that the Moroccans are planning to clear the camps by force and have cut off cell phone signals to as to prevent sneaky stuff like uploading video of what they are doing. You probably won’t read much about this in the international press because Morocco is a darling of the West and news editors generally don’t care much about the Saharawis.
