Am I right in thinking that most surface-based observers will not usually see satellites in polar orbits pass over the celestial poles / pole star?
(And if you know which book I am reading, have I missed something, or is this a slip by the author?)

No dig at referees was in anyway intended. I have done my stints doing the worst job in sports (thankfully not at rugby union, where the rules confuse me, but in fencing), it’s just that too an outsider, the rules of rugby union seem particularly opaque.
